Axtell Eagles led for majority of the contest until around the two minute mark when Hanover would take over the lead and hold on down the stretch. Eagles saw a balanced scoring affair with Payton Heinen leading the way with 18 points, Aaron Schmelzle adding 14 and Derek Porting posting double figures with 12 points. For the Wildcats Austin Diederich scored 15, while Wade Steinfort added 11 points.
