The Nemaha Central Thunder volleyball team has been the clear cut #1 team in Class 3A in 2022. 

They posted another tournament win this past weekend as they won at Sabetha. Wins over Concordia, Hiawatha, Holton, Jackson Heights, Marysville, and Wamego. 

The Thunder are 37-1 overall and have won 28 matches in a row. They lone loss was on September 6th against Royal Valley. 

Other teams in the latest KVA rankings looking up at Nemaha Central include Cheney, Heritage Christian, Beloit, and Riverton. 

Nemaha Central will compete one final time in the regular season at the Riverside Tri on Tuesday (10/18) before Sub-State brackets are released. 

Sub-State tournaments will take place on Saturday and we'll have coverage from the Seneca Sub-State on Kanzaland Radio.
