Week Four KVA – Rankings

Four weeks of the high school volleyball season are in the books and five teams remained ranked in the newest state rankings released by the Kansas Volleyball Association.

The best ranking of an area team continues to come in Class 3A as the Royal Valley Panthers are still perfect at 21-0 and ranked first after a sweep of Perry Lecompton and Jeff West Tuesday night.

Sabetha also remains in the 3A rankings moving down one spot to No. 5 at 17-4 after a split Tuesday night with a win over Holton but a loss to Nemaha Central.

Two teams check into the 2A rankings this week with Valley Heights up one spot to No. 5 with a 23-4 record while Oskaloosa is into the rankings at No. 10 with a 15-5 record.

The final ranked area team comes in Class 1A as the Centralia Panthers are back up to No. 2 with a 16-5 record after three wins Tuesday night in Twin Valley League play.
