Falls City Track Teams Compete at Nebraska City

 Maryville and Plattsmouth battled it out for team titles at the Nebraska City Track Invitational on Tuesday.

For the boys title Plattsmouth Edged the Spoofhounds 144 – 143 with Falls City placing fourth in the seven team field with 60 points.  On the girls side it was Maryville with the win 164 – 149 and the Tigers again placing fourth with 47 points.

Individually for the Tigers: 

Hayley Cochran was second in the long jump; Haley Baxter was third in the shot;  Claire Poppe was third in the 100 meter hurdles and second in the 300 hurdles.

Top peformances for the Falls City boys included Zach Jordening, second in the high jump,  Jordy Stoller, second in the long jump and 6th in the 200 meters.  Cord Huettner was 2nd in the shot;  Mitchell Harling was 3rd in the triple jump.  The Tigers 3200 relay team of Brandon Gibson, Brenden Heckinlively, Cody Schawang and David von Behren placed second.
