KNZA Broadcast: Whetstine Pours in 32 Points to Lead Troy Past Jackson Heights

The Troy girls basketball team was led by Harper Whetstine on Tuesday night at Jackson Heights as the Trojans got the win 63-41.

Whetstine led the way for Troy (2-2) with 32 points and nine rebounds. She scored 26 of her 32 points in the first half as Troy built a 33-16 lead at the break.

Hailey Groff added 13 points and six rebounds for Troy while Alyson Grable finished the night with 10 points and five rebounds.

The Cobras (2-1) suffered their first loss of the season and were led in the game by sophomore Nicole Amon who finished with 16 points and four rebounds while Chesnea Cochren finished with 10 points and nine rebounds.
