Wrestling: Spring Hill Girls Invitational

The Spring Hills Girls Wrestling team hosted their invitational on Saturday with Holton and Rossville competing in the 20-team field.

Holton finished in sixth place with a team score of 100 while Rossville finished in ninth place with 57 points. Gardner-Edgerton won the tournament with a score of 231.5 while Washburn Rural finished in second with 198.5 points and Spring Hill in third place with 114 points.

Some of the area highlights included Holton’s Sophia Arredondo finishing in second place at 110 and Holton’s Marley Gilliland finished in second place at 190.
