The 3A #1 ranked Silver Lake volleyball team won their home tournament on Saturday going a perfect 6-0 and sweeping every single match. 

The Eagles got pool play wins against Sabetha, Hays, Perry-Lecompton, and Sedgwick. 

They would defeat Rossville in the gold bracket semifinals 25-15, 25-16 and they would follow that with a win against Eudora in the championship 25-23, 25-19. 

The Eagles only have one loss so far in 2025 and now have 10 wins against higher class teams this season. 

They had two milestones during the tournament with junior libero Jaylie Whitehead surpassing 1,000 career digs and junior setter Kylie Hanni recording her 2,000th career assist. 

Perry-Lecompton lost the fifth place match in three sets against Hays while Jefferson West defeated Sedgwick in three sets to claim seventh place.
