Holton Volleyball Falls to Rock Creek in Wamego Tournament Championship

The Holton volleyball team took home a second place finish on Saturday at the Wamego Tournament in what was a loaded field. 

The Wildcats went a perfect 3-0 in pool play with straight set wins against Wamego and Royal Valley along with a three set win against Riley County. 

They would defeat Circle 25-22, 25-14 in the semifinals before falling to Rock Creek in the championship 17-25, 11-25. 

Riley County finished the tournament in fourth place as they went 2-1 in pool play defeating Wamego and Royal Valley. 

The Falcons lost to Rock Creek in the semifinals 20-25, 24-26 and then would follow that with a 25-18, 20-25, 20-25 loss to Circle in the consolation final. 

Nemaha Central went 1-2 in pool play and would finish the tournament in fifth place. The Thunder defeated host Wamego in their final match of the day 25-14, 26-24.
