The McLouth softball team dominated the All-State selections from the Kansas Softball Coaches Association for the 2024 season.
The Bulldogs won their second straight Class 2-1A State Championship last month in Pratt defeating Cedar Vale/Dexter 6-0 in the Championship game finishing with a record of 28-2.
McLouth ended up with the most First Team selections from any of the State Champions. Junior pitcher Dani Lee, senior catcher Anna Patz, junior infielder Cresinda Bandel, senior infielder Marissa Caray and senior outfielder Somer Wyatt earned First Team honors.
The other State Champions were Olathe Northwest (6A), Bishop Carroll (5A), Wamego (4A), and Frontenac (3A).
Sabetha would represent in Class 3A with two Second Team selections with infielder Laura Edelman and Utility/DP Alexia Hayden.
Joining the five McLouth Bulldogs on the First Team in Class 2-1A was Oskaloosa pitcher Lilly Pullen and Riverside infielder Halle Studer.
Second Team selections in Class 2-1A included Onaga pitcher Bridgett Campbell and Valley Falls catcher Renay Myers. Oskaloosa's Lydia Turner earned Honorable Mention honors.
