The Meadowlark Conference have released their All-Conference teams for the 2023-2024 basketball season with Atchison landing multiple honors. 

The Atchison girls finished with a record of 10-9 and lost in the first round of the Sub-State tournament. The Atchison boys made a deep postseason run and finished third-place at the 4A State Tournament in Salina finishing their season with a record of 22-3. 

Both teams finished runner-up in the Meadowlark Conference behind Highland Park. 

Presley Simpson led the Atchison girls as she was named First Team All-Conference. Tyeera Heyward, Ma'Jia Stoves, and Kaiya Downing were all named Honorable Mention. 

The Highland Park girls swept all the Conference awards with the Player of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and Coach of the Year. 

The Atchison boys were led by Jeter Purdy who was named First Team All-Conference. The Phoenix also landed two on the Second Team All-Conference list with Xiomar Hernandez and Trey Carter. 

The lone Honorable Mention selection for the Atchison boys was Eric Smith III.
