The MSC Sports Radio Network is set to bring you 2024 State Basketball Tournament coverage between March 6th-March 9th. 

First round games will take place on Wednesday and Thursday (March 6th & 7th) with the Semifinal and Championship games slated for Friday and Saturday (March 8th & 9th).

Saturday, March 9th

The Riverside girls in Class 2A back in the title game for the 2nd straight season – looking to avenge last season’s defeat in the title game this year against Wichita Independent – that game will be 4 and broadcast on KNZA 103.9 FM.

The Frankfort girls in Class 1A-I out in Colby – Wildcats in their first state title game since 1981 – they finished third place last season and have a shot to win it all this year – they will take on top seed Little River at 6:15 – that game on KMZA 92.1.

The Silver Lake girls in Class 3A beat Hayden last night in the semifinals and will face Hesston tonight at 6:15 looking for their first state title since 2016 – that game live on KNZA 103.9.

Area teams playing in third place games today – The Axtell boys in 1A-II in great bend – tough loss to Lebo last night and will face Dighton today at noon on KNZA 103.9 FM.

The VH girls out in Dodge City in Class 2A will face St. Marys Colgan after losing their semifinal against Riverside – that game at noon on KMZA 92.1.

The Atchison boys lost a heartbreaker to Hugoton in their semifinal and will play for third place at 2 today against Baldwin – broadcast for that one in Salina on KAIR 93.7.

The Centralia girls in 1A-I in Colby – Panthers lost to Little River in the semifinals, and they will match up against South Gray beginning at 2 – that game on KMZA 92.1.
