Sabetha, Marysville, and Perry-Lecompton Girls Tennis Sending Athletes to State Tournament

The Sabetha girls tennis team will be sending three to the upcoming 3-1A State Tournament while Marysville and Perry-Lecompton will provide some representation. 

Audrey Tramp in singles and the doubles team of McKenna Gatz and Karsyn Meyer will be representing the Bluejays at State this season. Both finished in fifth place at the Regional Tournament hosted by Marysville this past weekend. 

Marysville won the Regional Tournament while the Bluejays finished in a tie for third-place. Perry-Lecompton finished in a tie for seventh-place with two points. The Kaws did get one state qualifer with Sophie Scrimsher as she finished in sixth-place in singles. 

Marysville is sending two singles to the State Tournament with Shea Kramer and Grace Winkler and two doubles teams with Rose Latta/Kadence Spurgeon and Kate Frese/Aubrey Vering. 

Sabetha will be hosting the State Tournament at Topeka-Kossover Tennis Center on October 13-14. More information on the State Tournaments can be found here
