The Sabetha girls tennis team posted a first-place finish at the Washburn Rural Invitational on Wednesday afternoon.
The Bluejays totaled 12 points and was the top team in the eight team field.
Manhattan, Shawnee Heights, and Cornerstone tied for second-place with 11 points, NEK-Gray, NEK-White, and Washburn Rural each finished with six points while Junction City finished last with one point.
The Bluejays #1 singles player in Audrey Tramp finished in third-place going 3-1, #1 doubles of Karsyn Meyer and McKenna Gatz finished in third-place going 3-1, #2 singles of Emily Arnold finished the day 3-2, and #2 doubles of Alexa Kaufman and Kelsey Hermann finished in second-place going 4-1.
