The Kansas Volleyball Association released its Week 3 rankings with multiple area teams representing but some falling out of the rankings.

Nemaha Central moved up one spot in the Class 3A rankings to number three with a record of 16-2. The Thunder are coming off a second place finish at Wamego.

In Class 2A, Valley Heights remains number seven with a record of 11-5 with Pleasant Ridge just behind them at eight with a record of 13-5. The Mustangs got a tournament win at Axtell on Saturday winning six matches. Jefferson County North falls out of the rankings after being ninth last week.

Centralia stays at number five in the Class 1A-D1 rankings with a record of 12-6.

Hanover moves up three spots to number two in Class 1A-D2 with a record of 11-3.
