Nemaha Central CC sweep home invitational

The Nemaha Central cross country teams swept their home invitational on Thursday at Spring Creek Golf Course. 

Madilyn Mosteller finished first place in the varsity girls 5k with a time of 22:07.80. Rounding out the top five was McKenzie Baker of Washington County, Laela Idol of Doniphan West, Keelyn Rempe of Centralia, and Meleah Talley of Centralia. 

Centralia finished in second behind Nemaha Central in the team standings followed by Valley Falls, Doniphan West, ACCHS, Jefferson County North, and Jackson Heights. 

Axtell's Grady Buessing won the varsity boys 5k with a time of 17:26.40. Rounding out the top five finishes was Xavier Gresham of St. Marys Academy, Lucas Meredith of Jefferson County North, Daniel Schwanbeck of St. Marys Academy, and Bob Langill of Nemaha Central. 

The Thunder finished in first place in the team standings followed by St. Marys Academy, Axtell, Horton, Washington County, Jackson Heights, and Centralia.
