Newest KBCA Rankings Released 2/7/23

The second set of high school rankings of February have been released by the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association.

Nemaha Central drops one spot to number four in the latest Class 3A Girls’ rankings. ACCHS stays steady as the Tigers remain fifth.

Riverside has continued to play at a high level and remain ranked #3 with Jackson Heights dropping another spot to #8 in Class 2A.

In Class 1A-D1, Frankfort moves up a spot to #6. Clifton-Clyde moves up one spot to #7 after a big drop in last week’s poll.

Hanover remains unbeaten and stay ranked #1 in the state in Class 1A-D2.

As for the boys’ side, Atchison and Sabetha remain atop their classes. Marysville stays #8 in the state in Class 3A.

Clifton-Clyde stays #2 in the Class 1A-D1 rankings only behind Olpe. After moving up last week, Blue Valley-Randolph stays #5 this week. Troy makes their season premiere in the rankings at #10.

In Class 1A-D2, Axtell and Hanover stay at number three and four, respectively.
