The Kansas Eight-Man Football Association has announced their All-Star game selections featuring many of our area athletes.

The Eight-Man All Star games will be held in Beloit on June 10th with the Division I game kicking off at 1:30 p.m. and the Division II game starting at 10 a.m.

There were three players that were selected for the Kansas Shrine Bowl and the Kansas Eight-Man All-Star Game with Axtell’s Isaac Detweiler being one of them.

His father, Eric, was named coach of the year by the Kansas Eight-Man Football Association.

Detweiler’s teammate Evan Buessing was also named to the All-Star team as well and they will both be representing the East team.

Other members of the Twin Valley League that are participating include Xander Hull of Frankfort, Kreighton Klima from Linn and Josh Zarybnicky from Hanover with Hanover coach Matt Heuer being one of the coaches for the East team.

In Division I, Seth LeClair and Maison Slater from Clifton-Clyde both made the West team.
