The Jackson Heights volleyball team wrapped up the regular season on a high note with two wins over Pleasant Ridge and Valley Falls on senior night.
They beat Pleasant Ridge 25-13 and 25-19 and they also defeated Valley Falls 25-15 and 25-10.
In the other match, it was Pleasant Ridge with a win over Valley Falls 25-14 and 25-18.
Jefferson County North won the Northeast Kansas League Title after picking up two wins on Tuesday night against ACCHS and McLouth.
The Chargers finished 27-8 overall and 15-1 in NEKL play. Jackson Heights finished with a 13-3 league record to finish second place followed by Pleasant Ridge at 12-4.
Jefferson County North hosts a Class 2A Sub-State on Saturday with Pleasant Ridge, Jackson Heights, Horton, McLouth, Oskaloosa, Valley Falls and Riverside.
The 2A State Tournament will be in Dodge City on October 28-29.
