The Riverside Cyclones got their record over .500 and improved to 2-0 in District play with a 34-9 win at Onaga on Friday (9/30) night.
Riverside (3-2) scored on their first possession of the game and also their last possession of the first half. They led 12-9 with two touchdowns from Percy Duncan.
The Buffaloes (1-4) got a safety early in the second quarter and a touchdown run from Gavin Kolterman but that was it for the Onaga offense the rest of the game.
Riverside outscored Onaga 22-0 in the second half with three more touchdowns from Duncan. Duncan finished the game with nearly 200 total yards and five touchdowns.
The Cyclones outgained the Buffaloes 274-123 in total yards.
Riverside is now 2-0 in 1A District Four play and they'll hosts Sabetha in their next game.
Onaga drops to 0-2 in District Four play and will travel to Christ Prep Academy in their next game.
