Oskaloosa Girls and Marysville Boys Win Cross Country Meet at Horton

The Marysville boys and Oskaloosa girls Cross Country teams won the Horton Invitational on Thursday (9/29). 

Silas Miller of Marysville won the boys 5K followed by Camden Bachman of Hiawatha, Charlie Lukert of Sabetha, Henry Cloyd of McLouth, and Nathan Miller of Marysville to round out the top five. 

Other notables in the top 10 include Haeden Forbes of ACCHS finishing in sixth, Jordan Hodge of Hiawatha in seventh, Dylan Stemmons of McLouth in eighth, Brenner Pilsl of Marysville in ninth, and David Keo of Hiawatha in 10th. 

Rock Creek's Kyra Nippert won the girls 5K followed by Laura Metzger of Sabetha, Brynn O'Neil of Marysville, Holly Thacher of Oskaloosa, and Amelia Foster of Rossville to round out the top five. 

Amelia Brown of Valley Falls finished seventh, Maizie Hageman of Hiawatha finished ninth, and Isabelle Black of Maur Hill-Mount Academy finished 10th.
