The Kansas Volleyball Association released their rankings after Week 3 of play, and northeastern Kansas teams continue to impress.

Nemaha Central moved up to the number one spot in Class 3A after winning two matches last week to improve to 17-1. They leaped Heritage Christian who also won both of their matches last week. Royal Valley drops from third to seventh after losing two matches. They are now 14-3 on the year.

In Class 2A, Jackson Heights moves up three spots to number seven in the new rankings. The Cobras were unranked just two weeks ago but have impressed the voters with a 10-1 record. Valley Heights split their matchups and fall two spots to number nine in the rankings with an overall record of 12-5.

In Class 1A Division 1, Doniphan West stays at number four with a 13-2 record. The Mustangs went 6-2 last week. Centralia also played a lot of matches this past week and move up a spot to seventh with their 14-3 record.

As for Class 1A Division 2, Hanover falls out of the top spot to number three in the rankings. They picked up their first losses of the season after going 7-2 last week, but they still have an impressive record of 15-2.
