Nemaha Central Cross Country with Strong Showing at Marysville

The Nemaha Central cross country team had a strong weekend at the Marysville Meet. 

Thunder junior Hailey Nordhus won the girls 5K while junior John Langill won the boys 5K. 

The Thunder girls finished second place as a team behind only Riley County while the boys finished in first place. 

On the girls side, Centralia freshman Meleah Talley finished second place behind Nordhus and she was followed by Sabetha sophomore Laura Metzger who finished in third place. 

Axtell junior Grady Buessing finished second place behind Langill on the boys side while Sabetha posted two in the top five with junior Kalvin Evans and freshman Charlie Lukert.
