Week one of the high school football season is behind us as we now gear up for week two games this week. 

K-Preps released their latest rankings heading into Friday. 

In Class 3A, Holton dropped a couple of spots to #4 as they lost to Nemaha Central on Friday in a thriller. 

The Thunder hold serve at #2 in Class 2A behind only Southeast of Saline. Sabetha earned a spot in the "others considered" category as they got off to a strong start with a win over Perry Lecompton at home. 

No local teams inside the top five in Class 1A but plenty of teams being considered on the outside looking in. Centralia, Jackson Heights, Jefferson County North, Riverside, and Troy all made the list after week one victories. 

Axtell stays at #1 in 8-Man-II after they hung up 82 points in their win over Cair Paravel. 

Clifton Clyde is ranked third in 8-Man-I after they picked up a huge win over Hanover on Friday.
