Nebraska's Rachel Theriot captured her second Big Ten Freshman-of-the-Week award in the past month when the conference office announced its weekly winners on Tuesday.

Theriot, a 6-0 guard from Middleburg Heights, Ohio, poured in 13 points with a career-high three three-pointers while dishing out a career-best eight assists in Nebraska's 84-63 win at Minnesota on Sunday. Theriot hit 5-of-8 shots, including 3-of-5 three-point attempts against the Golden Gophers, while her eight assists came against just one turnover. She also played a career-high 39 minutes.

For the week, Theriot averaged 8.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 5.5 assists while shooting 66.7 percent (4-6) from three-point range. In Big Ten play, Theriot is averaging 7.7 points, 2.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists per contest, while increasing her season averages to 5.1 points, 2.4 rebounds and 3.0 assists on the year.

Theriot has made 13 consecutive starts for the Huskers and appeared in all 19 games despite battling a foot injury throughout the season. She earned her first Big Ten Freshman-of-the-Week award on Dec. 31.

Theriot and the Huskers return to the Devaney Center on Thursday night when they take on No. 25 Michigan State. Tip-off between the 13-6 Huskers and 16-2 Spartans is set for 7:05 p.m.
