Regional Track and Field meets are wrapping up this week to determine participants at the State Meet next weekend in Wichita.
The Twin Valley League squads were in Washington County on Thursday to compete in their 1A Regional Meet.
The Axtell boys took home the Regional Championship as the Eagles tallied 77 points. Frankfort finished in second place with 61 points and Clifton Clyde finished in third place with 45.5 points.
Canton Galva and Pike Valley rouned out the top five in scoring for the boys.
The Hanover girls were Regional Champs as they put up 114 points. Washington County finished in second place with 80 points and Doniphan West finished in third place with 58 points.
Centralia and Blue Valley rounded out the top five in scoring for the girls.
