Finding their offense when they needed it most, the Benedictine College Lady Ravens overcame a 16 point deficit late in the third quarter to win 62-58 over Concordia University of Nebraska in the first round of the NAIA National Women's Basketball Tournament Friday afternoon.

BC raced to an 11-0 lead in the opening minutes only to see their GPAC opponent go on a 22-0 run of their own and trailed at halftime 37-25.  The Bulldogs increased their lead to 16 at 2:20 left in the third, 51-35.  From there it was all Ravens.  In fact, the last 6:10 of the game was exactly that, all Ravens, as they ended the game on a 13-0 run which secured the win and sends BC to the Regional Championship Saturday afternoon in Bowling Green, KY.  CUNE ends their season at 16-14 while BC moves to 22-10 and will meet #1 seeded and regional host school Campbellsville,

The lady Ravens were led by Skylar Washington with 17 points, Natalie Smaron with 11 rebounds, and Kennedy Nicholson with 4 assists.
