Feb. 18 KBCA – Rankings

There’s just two weeks that remain until sub-state tournament for area high school basketball and with that the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association has released the second to last rankings of the year featuring five area teams.

In Class 3A the girl’s rankings continue to house two teams from the Big 7 League with the Nemaha Central Thunder still ranked No. 1 with a perfect 18-0 record while Sabetha has moved to No. 3 with a record of 16-2.

On the boy’s side of the 3A rankings the Royal Valley Panthers continue to hold on to their spot at No. 5 as the Panthers have already wrapped up a Big 7 League title while holding an overall record of 17-1.

The final two ranked teams come in Class 2A with Jeff County North still holding the No. 5 spot at 16-2 while Valley Heights is 17-2 and ranked eighth.
