Big 7 All-League Volleyball Teams Announced

2019 Big 7 All-League Volleyball – Selections

The 2019 high school volleyball season wrapped up just over a week ago and with that the Big 7 League has released their all-league selections for the year.

This season saw Royal Valley capture a league championship with a 13-3 record and a Class 3A State Title earning the Panthers four players onto the first team.

The Panthers were led by senior McKenzie Ogden who was a unanimous all-league selection while juniors Ivy Fink, Morgan Harvey and Emma McKinsey all earned first-team selections as well.

The second spot in the Big 7 League this season went to the Sabetha Bluejays who went 11-3 in league play and earned two players onto the first team in senior Nicole Kuenzi and junior Melinna Schumann.

Coming in the third spot in the league this season was the Holton Wildcats who also earned a trip to the Class 4A state tournament with a 30-14 overall record and the Cats had Cailin Parks earn a unanimous selection while Danika Hickman added a first team selection as well.

The Nemaha Central Thunder made a third straight trip to the 3A State Tournament this season and had two players earn first-team all-league selections in Lexi Lueger who was a unanimous selection while Alleigh Kramer added to the first team.

The final four first-team spots were claimed by Hiawatha and Perry Lecompton as the Kaws had Jenna Keller earn unanimous selection along with Cali Coleman, while the Redhawks had Sarah Madsen and Clara Lindstrom earn first-team selections.
