Frankfort Girls & Boys Take Top Spots at Home Track Invite

Twin Valley League track and field teams continued their seasons on Thursday competing against each other as Frankfort played host to Blue Valley-Randolph, Linn and Doniphan West, while Marysville was also in action. 

Both the Frankfort girls and boys earned first place by wide margins as the lady Wildcats racked up 138 points and the boys posted 134 points. In the girls team standings Doniphan West took second, Linn third, Blue Valley-Randolph fourth and Marysville fifth. The boys team standings Blue Valley-Randolph took second, Linn third, Marysville fourth and Doniphan West fifth. 

On their home track Frankfort notched 19 first place finishes on the day leading to the pair of team first place finishes. In the boys competition Carson Schreiner sprinted past the competition winning the 100, 200 and 400 meter dashes with times of 12.22, 25.21 and 1:02.07. Garret Dalinghaus earned a pair of first place finishes winning the 100 meter hurdles (17.72) and the pole vault (10'00), while Brian Joseph tossed his way to first in the shot put (38'11) and discus (115'05.50). Wildcat boys also took first place in the 4x100 and 4x400 meter relays behind times of 47.63 and 11:34.10, while Colton Parthemer won the 800 meter run won the 800 meter run (2:27.02). 

The lady Wildcats had Lydia Loiseau win a pair of events as she claimed first place in the 100 meter dash (14.17) and the long jump (14'10.75), while the girls swept the relay competitions winning the 4x100 (54.48), 4x400 (5:33.60) and 4x800 (12:45.40) meter relays. Also on the track Sarah Corbin took first in the 3200 meter run (2129.68) for Frankfort. While in the field events Alli Tommer, Kaci Vaughn and Grace Dressman each won an event for the lady Wildcats. Tommer with a toss of 30'09 won the shot put, while Vaughn registered a toss of 110'01 to win the javelin and Dressman took first in the pole vault with a vault of 8'00. 

Three multi-event winners led Blue Valley-Randolph on the day at the Frankfort Invite. Dakota Hagenmaier earned first in the boy’s 300 meter hurdles (50.21) and triple jump (38'00), while his teammate, Cole Montgomery won the high jump (6'00) and long jump (18'08.75). In the girls competition Katie Hutson won the 800 and 1600 meter runs behind times of 2:53.55 and 6:00.66. Elizabeth Wright and Brooklyn Zoeller both also won events for the Rams as Wright won the girls discus (96'01) and Zoeller won the girls triple jump (29'02). 

Linn was led by the performance of Shelby Ohlde won the girls 200 and 400 meter dashes with times of 28.41 and 1:07.14, while also taking first in the high jump (5'08). Bulldog boys had three event wins as the 4x400 meter relay (4:15.17) team took first, while Dillon Cooper won the javelin (145'11) and Eder Martinez won the 3200 meter run (14:45.95). 

Doniphan West Mustangs were led by Shayna Wilson who swept the girls hurdles posting times of 17.86 and 51.62 to win the 100 and 300 meter hurdles at the Frankfort Invite.
