The Falls City Tigers girls and boys picked up wins Thursday night when they hosted the Johnson-Brock Eagles.
In the girls game Baylee Vrtiska led the way with 18 points and a double figure night rebounding for the Tigers.Sydney Armbruster scored 14 and Alyssa Frederick had 11 for the Tigers. The Tigers improved to 6-4 on the season. The Eagles drop to 3-4. Kendra Alberts led Johnson-Brock with 12 points and Terra Newman had 8.
In the boys game Falls City improved to 9-1 with a 66-25 win. The Tigers, with 11 seniors scored 30 in the first quarter and led 50-10 at halftime over the very young Eagle squad. Jack Hartman scored 17 and Weston Witt scored 14 to lead Falls City. Devon Clark led Johnson-Brock with 11 points. The Eagles are now 2-5 on the year.
