Hiawatha looked to get right back into it and worked the bases loaded in the top of the fourth inning but left the bases loaded in the inning, while Doniphan County added another run in the sixth making it 7-1. Down to their final three-outs, Hiawatha got some late offense in the top of the seventh scoring two-runs but Doniphan County held off Hiawatha enough for the 7-3 win.

Gruber got the start and pitching three and two-thirds innings earning the win, while Kirwan finished the game to earn the save. Kirwan took over for Gruber in the fourth with runners at first and second and Alec's first pitched notched an inning-ending double play. Offensively Sabetha plated all six of their runs in the third inning on just two hits and six free passes, with Bauman and Gaven Schumann as the only Raptors to get a hit in the game.
