Following Tuesday nights 66-57 Falls City Tiger victory over the Nebraska City Pioneeers, the game ball was presented to Falls City Head Coach Don Hogue.

Now in his 15th season as the Tigers Head Coach, Tuesday’s victory marked the 194 in Hogue’s career. Coach Hogue was quick to credit others for contributing to the record.

The previous record of 193 wins belonged to Falls City coaching legend Jug Brown for whom the football stadium is named.  Those wins came between 1930 and 1944.

The Tiger basketball fortunes have made a major turnaround in recent season following 11 consecutive years with a losing record, they had their first winning season in more than a decade in 2006.

The Tigers are home  tonight against HTRS in a game that can be heard on A-M 1230 KTNC.  The class C1 7th ranked Tigers are now 19-2 on the season and wrap up regular season play at home on February 21st hosting Fairbury.
