Former Nemaha Valley Raider and Highland CC Scottie volleyball star continue her college volleyball career this year at Missouri Western and lead the way for the Griffons on the season earning first team All-MIAA honors.

Rottinghaus helped the Griffons to their first winning season 2006 as the team finished 16-15 and 9-7 in MIAA play for their first winning record in conference play since 2000. The Seneca native became the first Missouri Western player to earn first team All-MIAA honors since 2002 (Lindsey Palaia). Rottinghaus earned the honors after posting 387 kills this season good for a 3.22 kills per set average, while registering double digit kills in 24 of the 31 matches this season.

Her offensive prowess continued with her serving with 47 services aces and 455 points this season, while her defense was big for the Griffons with 377 digs and 38 blocks. Erica lead the team in both service aces and kills, while ranking second in digs.

The junior will look to continue her athletic success on the volleyball court again next year when she suits up for the Griffons for her senior season, coming off her All-MIAA first team junior season.
