Falls City Sacred Heart Advances to Championship Football Game

 (KLZA) The Falls City Sacred Heart Irish have advanced to the Class D-2 State Championship contest in football scheduled for Monday, November 25th at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln.

The top ranked Irish defeated second ranked Wynot 61-44 Monday, in Wynot to advance. Quarterback Chaz Dunn threw four touchdown passes going 15-22 for 233 yards on the day.  Dunn was picked off once.  He also ran for 89 yards and a score on just six carries.

Sawyer Kean led the Sacred ground game with 220 yards on 29 carries. He scored 4 td's.  Austin Malone caught 6 of Dunn's passes for 113 yards and three scores.  Colin Neimeyer caught three balls for 82 yards and a pair of scores.

Dunn intercepted two Wynot passes and Jarod Feigener made a key interception in the game as well to go along with a full day of harassing the Wynot quarterback.

Wynot signal caller Jackson Sudbeck three five touchdown passes in the game hitting 29 of 54 passes for 413 yards.  He was also picked off three times.

The 12-0 Irish will take On Stuart in the championship game on Monday at 2:45 p-m.  Pre game coverage on SUNNY 101.3 will begin at 2 p-m.
