With the volleyball season in the books leagues across Kansas are handing out All-League honors to the top players in the league. The Big Seven League enjoyed a solid volleyball season that saw three teams make the state tournament and one team win a state title.

Class 4A-Division II state champs the Santa Fe Trail Chargers lead the All-League honors with three on the All-League team and two earning honorable mention. The Chargers finished their stellar state title season with a 39-5 season and won the Big Seven title with a perfect 16-0 league record. Senior trio of Shelby Dahl, Jaeden Romine and Megan Zaldivar earned All-League honors; while seniors, Jessica Abendroth and Amber Moore earned honorable mention honors.

Jeff West Tigers finished tied for second in the Big Seven this year and also made the Class 4A-Division II state tourney finishing the season with a 24-17 record and 12-4 mark in the league. Tigers saw two gals who will return next year earned All-League honors with junior, Olivia Brees and the only sophomore to earn All-League honors, Bailey Harvey.

Holton Wildcats were the only other team to place multiple players on the Big Seven All-League team as seniors, Mikayla Booth and Haley Jacobs helped the Wildcats to a 22-15 mark this year and 12-4 in the league to tie for second with Jeff West.

The Nemaha Valley Raiders like Jeff West and Santa Fe Trail made the state tournament this year as the Raiders open the state tourney with a big win over #1 seed Jayhawk Linn but were unable to make it out of pool play. Raiders finsihed fourth in the league with a 10-6 league record and 22-18 overall mark. Junior, Madison Koch took home All-League honors, while her senior teammate, Michaela Stallbaumer notched honorable mention honors.

Joining the Big Seven this year the ACCHS Tigers finished 9-7 in the league and took home fifth in place in the league, finishing 20-18 overall. Leading the charge for the Tigers was junior, Rachel Newquist who earned All-League honors, while fellow Tiger junior, Shailey Caudle earned honorable mention distinction.

Perry Lecompton like ACCHS and Nemaha Valley placed one player on the All-League team and another earning honorable mention honors. Kaw senior, Halsten Coyle took home All-League honors while fellow senior, Kaitlin McAlister notched honorable mention honors after helping the Kaws to a 24-14 mark this season and 7-9 in the league to take sixth in the Big Seven.

The Sabetha Bluejays posted a 15-20 record overall and 6-10 record in the league to take seventh in the league as junior, Rhianna Becker lead the way to earn All-League honors and senior, Megan Renyer took home honorable mention honors.

Royal Valley Panthers improved their win total by nine this season taking eighth in the league with a 10-24 record overall on the season. Panther junior, Hannah Beam notched All-League honors for the Panthers.

The Hiawatha Red Hawks finished ninth in the league with a 4-12 league mark and 9-22 record on the season and saw senior, Elizabeth Chilcoat earn All-League honors as she looks to continue her volleyball career next year in college at Johnson County CC.

Riverside Cyclones joined the Big Seven this year with ACCHS but struggled in their initial year in the league taking tenth in their first volleyball season in the league, finishing with an overall record of 10-27 this year. Cyclones were led by senior, Kimberly Euler this season and she earned All-League honors.
