Nebraska football fans seem to be a nervous lot as the No. 22 Cornhuskers head into their Big Ten opener against Wisconsin on Saturday.
Twelve seasons have gone by without a conference championship - the program's longest drought since 1941-62.
There's a question of whether Nebraska is now routinely going to finish with nine or 10 wins and a trip to a second-tier bowl game. Fans say the Huskers should be playing for the conference title every year.
Fifth-year coach Bo Pelini has yet to win fewer than nine games in a year, but he also is yet to lose fewer than four.
