B&B and Centralia Stay Atop the KVA Volleyball Rankings in Week 4

Two of the more dominate high school volleyball teams in the Kanzaland area and in the state continue to stay atop the rankings in the latest KVA volleyball rankings, with the release week four rankings.

The Centralia Panthers and B&B Falcons who both have coming off of appearances at state last season. Centralia finished finished as runner-up at state in Class 1A-Division I, while B&B captured the state title in Class 1A-Division II. Centralia has won five state titles since 2000, while B&B has won two state titles since 2005.

Both teams continue to be ranked number one in the latest polls in their respective classification. The Panthers are 19-2 on the season with two league triangulars and one tournament left before the league tournament this season. For the Falcons they are 20-2 on the season and have a pair of league triangulars left this season and a matchup with Pawnee City before the league tournament.

On top of Centralia and B&B being featured in the rankings, three other Kanzaland area teams are receiving votes in the rankings. In Class 4A , both Holton and Jeff West are receiving votes and right outside the top five. Holton Wildcats, 16-6 on the season fell out of the rankings this week but they are right outside the top five, while the Jeff West Tigers are 19-4 on the season and receiving votes.

One other team is receiving votes in their classification that being the Washington County Tigers who are 14-1 on the season are picking up votes in Class 2A in the KVA polls.
