Ravens Cameron Fore Earns National Player of the Week Honor
By Tom Kautz

On the heels of a record-breaking afternoon on Saturday in Benedictine's 62-37 win over Avila University, running back Cameron Fore earned two weekly honors on Monday. Cameron Fore, a Rolla, Mo., native rushed for 236 yards off 21 carries with an average of just over 11 yards per rush on Saturday. As a result, he was named both the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) and NAIA Offensive Player of the Week.

In addition to Fore's strong rushing day, he scored six touchdowns to break two Benedictine single-game records setting new school records for rushing touchdowns and for single-game scoring. Along with the touchdown record, Fore's point total for the day was 36 points, which also established a new record that he also previously shared with Don Brown. His scoring totals from Saturday also established new single-game NAIA highs.

On the year, Fore has rushed for 14 touchdowns and he has also rushed for one two-point conversion which translates to 86 total points. Those 86 points have pushed him up to No. 2 on the Ravens all-time scoring list behind Brown who rushed for 50 career touchdowns.

The Ravens take on MNU on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Wilcox Stadium as they look to continue their run through the HAAC
