Ravens Continue Assault on Record Books in 62-37 Win
By Tom Kautz
When the Benedictine Ravens scored their first touchdown 20 seconds into the game on their first offensive play it seemed this may be a special Saturday. In the middle of the third quarter when Cameron Fore scored his 6th touchdown of the afternoon the fans knew they were right. Now with the half-way point of the regular season behind them, BC continues to rewrite the record books as they improve to 6-0, 4-0 with Avila University falling to the Ravens 62-37. Along with his record 6 TD's, Fore rolled up 236 yards rushing on 21 carries. Quarterback Bill Noonan added 201 yards through the air. Abdullah Sabir paced the Raven defense with 12 tackles. And for the second game in a row, Dylan Meisenheimer pulled down an interception and ran it back for a score, this week from 36 yards. Up next for the #5 Ravens is a Homecoming match with long-time rival MidAmerica Nazerine. Kickoff is set for 1:00 in Wilcox Stadium on the BC campus. Pre-game will begin at 12:30 on KAIR 93.7.
