The Falls City Tiger softball team picked up their 18th win of the season earlier today with a 9-1 victory in six innings over Johnson County Central in the first round of the Class C District 1 tournament at Syracuse. 

Falls City will take on 3rd seed Syracuse in the next round.  The Rocket girls picked up a 7-2 victory over Conestoga in the opening round.  In other first round action #5 seed Freeman Rolled over Wilber-Clatonia 10-0.

Freeman has top-seed Southern in second round action.  Falls City will take on Syracuse.  In the playback round Conestoga takes on Johnson County Central with the loser having their season come to an end in the double elimination tournament. 

Later this afternoon the Falls City vs. Syracuse loser will take on Wilber-Clatonia.  the Freeman vs. Southern loser will play the winner of Johnson County Central and Conestoga.
