Sub-States have been determined across the state of Kansas for volleyball but the sights are not on postseason quite yet for teams as a couple weeks of regular season action and tournaments still loom ahead.

As teams continue to focus on the teams next on their schedule the latest set of KVA volleyball rankings have been released and with the split of 4A into two divisions their now is a 4A-DI and 4A-DII poll in the rankings and most area teams were on the move again in the polls.

In Class 1A-Division II the B&B Falcons continue to hold the perch atop the rankings as they sit at 20-2 on the season and continue to win, as they've won their last 12 games and have yet to loss in TVL play this season. Falcons next take flight on Saturday at the Valley Falls Invitational in their third tournament action of the season.

Class 1A-Division I houses another dominate TVL team in the Centralia Panthers who are 18-3 on the season and are perfect 9-0 in TVL action, as they remain number one in the latest KVA rankings. The Panthers three losses have come at the hands of B&B and Wabaunse twice on the season. Centralia will be on the prowl again this weekend when they square off with teams in the Silver Lake Invitational on Saturday.

A new area team jumped into the rankings in Class 1A-DI this week as the Linn Bulldogs who are 16-10 on the season have entered the poll for the first time this year coming in at number 10 in the polls. Bulldogs sit at 6-3 in TVL action thus far this season.

In Class 2A the Chargers of Jefferson County North and Washington County Tigers continue to be ranked. The Chargers continue to dominate the Northeast Kansas League with two more league wins Tuesday night, improving to 10-0 in league play and 22-5 overall. The Chargers with their play moved up one spot in the poll to number two this week. Chargers will next be in action next Tuesday as they will travel to Pleasant Ridge for a league triangular.

For the Tigers they sit at 13-2 on the season and 7-2 in the TVL after a pair of league wins this past Tuesday and moved up one spot to number three this week in the polls. Tigers will next be in action this Saturday at the Concordia Invitational.

Class 4A is the only other class to feature ranked teams from the area and this week for the first time this season Class 4A poll was split into its two divisions it will be in moving forward. A pair of 4A area teams area in the rankings this week both in the Class 4A-DII poll. The Chargers of Santa Fe Trail who were ranked sixth in the 4A poll last week are ranked number one in the 4A-DII poll as they continue to win this season sitting at 18-2 on the year. The Jeff West Tigers jumped into the rankings this week coming in at number eight in the 4A-DII rankings as they are 15-9 on the season.

With only a few weeks left in regular season play teams look to find momentum and continually get better for postseason play on the horizon.
