The fall cross country season as been a strong one for area runners and their schools as many area runners and schools look primed to make noise at Regionals and at the State competition this year after a year that saw three area State champions last season.

With a few more weeks left teams have three to four more meets still left to go to get tuned up for Regional action.

From Class 4A down all the area teams are all paired up in the same Regional in their respective classifications.

Class 4A teams from the area will travel to Bonner Springs to compete, Class 3A local area team Sabetha will play host, while Class 2A area teams will compete at area host Troy and in 1A area teams will travel to Lincoln for their Regional competition.
