Holton Wildcats girls golf team is enjoying a pretty successful season on the course and it continued, yesterday at the Santa Fe Trail Invite. In a tournament that featured seven teams the Wildcats fielded the best team score capturing first place with a team score of 209; 11 strokes better than second place finishers Silver Lake. Host school and other Big Seven league team, Santa Fe Trail finished fifth.

It was two top 10 finishers on the day for the Wildcats including a second place finish for Krystie Miller who shot a 43 on the day. Miller was fresh off her fist place finish at the Jeff West Invite, and second place at the Council Grove Invite, as she was only one stroke behind first place in that event. Miller was joined in the top 10 by her teammate, Haley Rhule who shot a 48 on the day.

Next up for the Wildcats they will hit the course tomorrow (Thursday September 27th) at Jeff West.
