The Frankfort Wildcats were one area team that didn't compete in an area meet as they traveled to Wabaunsee to compete at the Jason McKinney Invitational and the boys took home a first place finish.

It was senior, Adam Koch highlighting the competition as he took home a first place performance posting a time of 18:17, which was 1:49 better than the second place performance on the day. He was joined by three of his teammates in the top 10 as Wildcat runners nabbed fifth, sixth and ninth place performances.

Noah Suther took home fifth behind a time of 20:30, while Keith Huddleston followed him in sixth place with a time of 20:42 and Alex Roeder posted a time of 20:47 for ninth place.

Next up the Frankfort Wildcats turn their attention to the competition at the Centralia Invite on Saturday October 5th.
