Ravens Remain Undefeated With Win Over Baker
By Tom Kautz

Saturday afternoon two nationally ranked and undefeated teams met in Wilcox Stadium in Atchison, Kansas as Benedictine hosted Baker in the conference opener for both.  Records fell as Benedictine rolled up massive yardage in a 42-28 win.

Raven Senior Quarterback Bill Noonan tied Ryan Kelly's record with 27 completions and passed Dan VanAnne for top spot in the record book with 457 yards passing and in total yards with 460.  BC added 228 rushing yards led by Cameron Fore who had 171 on 16 carries as they pummeled Baker's defense for 685 yards on the day.

Benedictine (3-0,1-0) will continue HAAC play next Saturday on the road as they visit Peru State (NE).  The game will be played in Auburn, NE, as renovations to the historic Oak Bowl on the PSU campus continue.  Please note also that the game is slated for a 6:00 kickoff.  As always we invite you to join us for Raven football on KAIR 93.7 with this week's Pre-game starting at 5:30.
