(KTNC) - The Southeast Nebraska Baseball Conference Junior Baseball Tournament opened Tuesday, with games played at Auburn and Plattsmouth.

In the Southern Division games, at Auburn, Tecumseh upset Nebraska City, 8-6 in one game, and Falls City defeated Auburn 9-4 in the other game.  Derek McCann led the Blue Storm at the plate with three hits and three RBIs.  Tecumseh will play Falls City in a winner's bracket game, for the Southern Division championship, at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, while Nebraska City will play Auburn at 6:00 p.m. Thursday. 

Northern Division games Tuesday saw Syracuse upset top-seed Plattsmouth, 6-5, and EMN Nationals shutout Teckmeyer Financial, 5-0.  Northern Division games Thursday have Plattsmouth taking on Teckmeyer at 6:00 in the third place game, and Syracuse and EMN Nationals will play at 8:00 for the division title. 

The final round games of the SENBC Junior Tournament will be played Saturday in Tecumseh.

The Senior Conference Tournament begins Wednesday, with games at Falls City and Syracuse. 

Southern Division games at Falls City have Nebraska City taking on Tecumseh at 6:00 p.m. and Falls City tangling with Auburn at 8:00 p.m. 

Northern Division games at Syracuse have tournament top-seed Plattsmouth against Syracuse at 6:00 p.m. and Wilmar Electric against EMN Nationals at 8:00.
