Highland Community College faced off on the road against a ranked conference opponent last night in a Johnson County Community College squad who is ranked seventh in NJCAA Division II polls. The Scotties capitalized early with taking the first set 25-22 but after that it was all Johnson County as they went on to win the next three sets.

Johnson County would win 25-11, 25-12 and 25-22 to take the win last night, dropping the Scotties to 1-3 in conference play and now 11-6 overall on the season.

The Scotties were receiving votes in the last NJCAA Division II poll and will look to respond from the loss in when they travel to Neosho County Community College next Wednesday for another league matchup.
