Joshua Gonzalez

Former Nemaha Central Thunder standout Joshua Gonzalez has started his second season as the Baker University punter. 

In Baker's first game of the season in a 31-17 loss to Peru State, the sophomore had three punts with an average 30.7 yards which included a long punt of 39 yards and one that was placed inside the 20 yard line. 

In his freshman season, he totaled 33 punts and averaged over 33 yards per punt. He had a long punt of 58 yards and had 20 land inside the 20 yard line. 

His senior season at Nemaha Central featured an undefeated state championship along with earning first team all-league honors in the Big 7 as a punter.
