Onaga led most of the game outside of a brief stretch in the first quarter and the final six minutes of the game as Frankfort scored with 5:56 left in the game to take the lead and ultimately pick up the come from behind win. The Wildcats ran for 400-plus yards led by Adam Kenworthy who carried the ball 37 times for 224 yards and 5 TDs, while Lane Rogers added 182 yards on 25 carries with 2 TDs. Frankfort forced two Onaga turnovers (fumbles) and Rylen Bailey led the Wildcat defense with 19 tackles.
The Buffaloes were led by Logan Marten who ran for 112 yards on 16 carries with a TD and TD pass to Ben Kufahl, while Kufahl ran for 60 yards on 16 carries with 2 TDs. Brendan Melvin added a 64-yard TD run on the night.
