Axtell made history in the TVL Tournament winning their first TVL tournament crown and becoming the ninth TVL boys team to win the league tournament. Eagles started the game off with a 8-0 run and lead the entirety of the contest as Valley Heights tired to take the lead multiple times but never was successful. Aaron Schmelzle led Axtell with 15 points, as Payton Heinen chipped in 12 points and Taylor Platt posted 11 points. In the loss Charles Musil scored 24 points and Derek Trimble added 10 points.
